Miss Lydia came to see me not long ago for a newborn session. Her family moved to our little community a little over a year ago, but we didn’t meet until just prior to her birth. Their oldest daughter has become instant friends with my Meredith. Thank goodness because Meredith suffers from “middle child syndrome,” and the more friends she can have, the better!! She seems to think my oldest has more friends and gets to do more.
So back in May I went to Phoenix to study under the amazing Keri Meyers with Keri Meyers Photography. Miss Lydia came at the perfect time because after my fresh new tricks, I was eager to get some “practicing” done. I called out for a couple of newborn models to practice on, and low and behold, this little beauty was all ready! Prior to her newborn session, I was averaging around 4 hours for a newborn session. Now I am averaging 2 hours. Yes. A huge accomplishment in my book. I had also recently moved to a new home, and my new studio did not have any natural light, so I also had to learn studio lighting. Can I just say that I am HOOKED! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!
So now I get to introduce Miss Lydia’s session. Here are just a few that I wanted to share because the actual online gallery is twice the images. Please leave some positive feedback for this family with a comment or 2 below!
